Event Description:
Weston was founded and named in 1837. There are 22 books about the town on the National Register. Charming and just darn pretty, the town thrives with one-of-a-kind shops, boutique wineries, historic homes, Lewis & Clark history, distillers, and awesome views of the Missouri River, just below Main Street. Early on, Weston was the largest grower of tobacco and hemp in the country. Ben Holliday, along with fellow southerners bringing tobacco to the region, came from Kentucky for the quality of the local water to build his spirits empire.

Get to know some history while enjoying yourself throughout the day. This Day Tour includes a brief stop at Weston Bend State Park. Here we will take a group photo at the Missouri River Overlook.

  • National Silk Art Museum, 10:15am-11:15am. This is the most important and extensive exhibition of woven silk tapestry ever shown in the world. Gift shop on premises.
